I wouldn't rec. Champion at all. Fit and finish is horrible on the 3 hoods and one deck lid I've seen. Spend the money and get a H.O. fibertrends, Kaenan, VFN. Get a good quality one and don't regret it;)

I agree the finnish on there hoods are not as good as Cervinis or HO. never seen the other Companys hood. It depends on what you have. If you have a show car stick with Cervinis or HO. If you have a car your racing or a daily driver there hoods work fine. after all you get what you pay for. Cervinis hoods start at $459.00 for a bolt on. Champion hoods starts at $270.00 You cant expect a $270.00 hood to be as nice as a $459.00 hood. I have 2 of there hoods on my cars and I will agree they took some work to get them to look as nice as they do. Overall I am happy with my choice. They also sell on E-bay with a 99.6 possitive feedback. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=championfg&ssPageName=STRK:ME:UFS

I agree a Cervini hood is by far a much more superior piece.. but I paid $230. for my 5" lift off extended cowl from Champion and its fit and finish are great.. was also able to pick it up at the event close to me so there was no shipping.. and I got to look at it before I paid for it...
for a race car.. I would look at Champion... for a top quality street ride... definatly spend the $$$$ and get a Cervini..

I am very happy with my VFN hood;) Champion is about 10 minutes from me and I wouldn't use them for fiberglass anything. But thats just my .02$

Dan Schoneck can do you you a tall or short version, in carbon or glass. Gim him a call at 507-317-3252. I have had both and they are quality pieces, but are true lift offs and require some final fitting. I can provide pics if needed.
