What kinda timing are you guys running with a 200 shot and a 300 shot? I've been running 32 degrees of timing with the 200 shot on 110 octane and seems to be doing pretty good. The spark plug gap is set at 32.

I'm gonna be stepping up to 300 and was wandering what kinda timing and plug gap you guys are running.

A basic run down of the engine is a 60 over 351, stock crank, rods, venolia pistons (11 to 1 comp) solid roller, out of the box victor jr heads and intake, prosystems carb, ect ect.

Thanks

I would pull another 4 to 5 degrees out and gap the plugs around .029". 300 is 50 more than I have sprayed, but keeping the blue line, on the ground strap, in the middle of the bend seems to be the accepted practice. Keep the tune up on the safe side to begin with and take small steps. Tune to MPH and don't melt anything!;)

Joshua, can you give us a little details on what type of two stage set up you are running. Is a plate, or af ogger and a plate....
