Looking to buy aftermarket exhaust for my truck, something with good sound,and a good price, whats everybody using?

most of the major 5.0 exhaust manufacturers make a diesel exhaust. just depends on how big you want to go, single or duals, the size of the tip, where you want it to exit, polished or aluminized


pretty much options are limitless

my chiropractor has the new magnaflow 4 inch turbo back with dual 5 inch tips and it sounds decent.

as far as top brands are concerned, Silverline, Borla, Banks, Gibson, MBRP, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, ORU.

really it comes down to picking something you like and getting best bang for your buck

I'm looking for a downpipe to remove the cat and match up to my 5" custom exhaust. I guess I'll need a 5" muffler too after I remove the cat as this is the "muffler" now. It's a 2006 GMC Duramax 4X4 crew cab with the "LBZ" engine.
