WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS""" I am assembling a 460 and was ready to put the intake on, however I noticed that summit has a valley pan gasket fully metal... do I buy one of these, or use the regular intake gasket that came w/rebuild kit... also any tricks I might not know would be helpful... I have purchased a short block, all I have to do is oil pump, heads, lifters, intake and carb.. and the oil pan, as I am guessing any help is greatfully apreciated thanks!:D

Just use regular gaskets. No problems. I usually trim off the edges of the valley pan and use this as a heat/oil sheild from the bottom of the intake. Check out www.460ford.com for more info.
