i see carbon doors are allowed for nos small block combo but still must have oem glass i guess?

also why did bbf combo get taxed 50lbs when it hasn't won an event yet, i mean in years !!!!

sam i hope you got oem glass in your carbon doors.

maybe they are but won't help his weight situation that much unless they are lexan. which i think he has in them right now. i think thats something that was overlooked in the rule making when they allowed carbon doors anyhow they should be allowed on any combo not just nos small block.

Nope, they have lexan in them. Hell the OEM glass weigh as much or more thna the door itself. Surely the NMRA doesn't expect us the run the carbon doors with glass in them???

can anybody tell me what kind of weights they've been able to get the 99 and up to? I think they're inherently heavier and I wonder even with carbon fiber doors can they get down to minimum weight for a small block nitrous car?

Last one I did was 2975lb(w/200lb driver) this was with F3,9.5 Alum block only carbon was hood and deck lid. This was done with alot of cutting and time in the car also.
