1998 Cobra-busted rod...looking for new engine

I have a 1998 Cobra with a dead engine...I was told a rod busted and I need a new engine by the local ford dealer...

any suggestions on what to do here...I would like to keep it under 4k is possible

i will sell you the engine out of the lincoln for 800 dollars, it runs great, can hear it run if you like, the only difference is you will have to change you intake from your cobra onto this 4.6 that would be it, and it runs very strong call me if your interested 704-798-3873 thanks ..Larry
