Legal or not legal?

Ok heres my problem.

I have in-ward running lower legs on my main hoop, so according to the rule book i must have hope braces. But I'm also using a "pre-fab" funny car kit from S&W as the rest of the cage is from them.

You have to run a lower cross bar below the seat brace one for the down leg of the main funny car cage bar to sit on.

If i run that bar across the car, I can't put the main hoop braces onto the frame ties.

Would it be legal if i ran them to a 6x6 plate on top of the torque boxes?

Or could i two peice the legs and run them to the frame ties that way>


*** note none of the bars are in place just test fitting and tacking then it will be taken apart and welded in**

With being the problem would it be legal for me to put the bars like this.. once agian keep in mind these are very ruff fit right now, length and notching has not been done.

Also this car maybe future converted to 25.5 as in next year prob, so it must be legal for that as well.

the main hoop of your cage loks alot like mine.. however for the cage to be legal... you must run lower bars down the side of the car our buy the door sills.. basicly a strait line from the bottom of the main hoop to the bottom of the front cage bar.. then your x braces or whatever your putting in there..
