wheels ???

i am looking to go to a set of 10" wheels. i am wondering if anyone would know the backspacing? it is for a 79 capri w/ totally stock rear suspesion.

Hope this helps.

15 X 10 wheel........6.5 backspace

15 X 8 wheel..........5.5 backspace.


If you are going to run anything bigger than a 26-10.5-15 tire

like maybe a 28 X 9-15 or a 28 x 10.5-15 then you will need to massage the inner wheel well alittle so it doesnt rub at 10 oclock and 2 o clock.

if ya go to my website and look at my open comp car (orange) that is a 28 x 10.5 tire on a 15x10 with a 6 1/2 backspace and nothing but the wheel lip trim down just in case but i didnt have to trim it i only did it also because its getting a mini tub this fall and a big block 598 and was afraid it would hit.
