Looking for some direction on building a 400-450hp NA 2V 4.6 with room to grow for 100-150hp spray. I figured I should ask the guys who know best and thats the ones that build and race them on weekends. I'm fairly new to the Modular motors, always been a pushrod guy.
Heres the platform:
2000 GT Chassis w/suspension upgrades.
T45 5spd..upgrading to a TKO500 or C4 w/brake and 4000-
4500 convertor.
8.8 4.10 w/factory axles and carrier.
Choice of:
Blocks: FRPP 2V ALUMINUM SUPERCHARGED BLOCK
FRPP 2V ALUMINUM N/A BLOCK
FRPP 2V ROMEO BLOCK
D.S.S. RACING LEVEL 10 CNC 4.6 IRON BLOCK
ROTATING ASSEMBLY: ANY RECOMENDATIONS FOR A ROTATING ASSEMBLY
AND KEEPING COMPRESSION LOW ENOUGH FOR PUMP
GAS AND BENEFIT FROM THE BOTTLE.
CAMSHAFTS: COMP CAMS XE270 234/238 DURATION .550 LIFT
OR ANY OTHER RECOMENDATIONS
CYLINDER HEADS: HAVE NO CLUE...WETHER SEND A SET OF PI'S OUT TO
HAVE THEM DONE OR BUY A SET OF VT'S.
I already have a ACCUFAB 75MM TB & Plenum.
Plus buying: 40# Injectors, SCT 90mm MAF and tuned by Dynospeed in Memphis.
I appreciate any advice at all.
