I got a prob. ive always owned fox bodies and now i bought a 96 gt 4.6. I took the car to a muffler shop to have an X-pipe made and they broke the right front 02 sensor. The theft light stayed on and the fuel pump wouldnt come on. I could wiggle the 02 sensor and it would turn pump on and theft light off. I finally got it home and replaced all four 02 sensors. Then the car did the same agian. The car will not run, the theft light stays on and the fuel pump will not come on unless i ground the red and white wire on either of the front 2 02 sensors, then the car runs"but like crap". Does anyone have anything to get me in the right direction. all help greatly appreciated.

Did they weld on the car without disconnecting the battery? It's possible they fried the ECM..

Does the odometer show miles or dashes? If it is dashes then you have computer issues for sure

i dont have digital odometer. the battery was unhooked. they broke an 02 sensor and it threw the pats system into theft mode. what i need is to bypass the pats system. I found more broken parts in the pats system. IS THERE ANY WAY TO COMPLETLY BYPASS OR DO AWAY WITH THE PATS ALL TOGETHER!
I do not have the money to waste on a ford garage to charge me hundreds of dollars to fix this crap

You can try a chip.

Either a chip or a box like an SCT Xcal2...then your tuner will need to disable the PATS through the program.

Sounds like you need the transponder around the ignition. They are not very exspensive maybe $40 alot less than a chip.
