To whom it may concern @ NMRA. I raced at the Milan, Mi race in Open Comp, I **** in Southern California. I financially can't get to any other races in your series. Will I be able to compete at Bowling Green?? Thanks in advance! Dale 9667 o/c

Merc,
Your NMRA membership is for a 12 month period. You will be fine for the Finals in Bowling Green.
Good luck.

Larry, thanks for the prompt answer! I wish I could make all the rest of the races, but I have to let my money tree ripen a bit more. LOL!! I wish NMRA would consider coming west of the Mississippi, heck even Kansas City would be good for me!! Anyway good luck the rest of the races, and race safe!! Dale Hemrick 1983 Capri 9667 o/c

I would love to see more races at say Las Vegas, Denver, or even back to Phoenix if they could keep the rain away LOL.

Texas!
I think NMRA tried Texas a few years back, for a while. But the turnouts were just not very good, and temps were way too hot, even early in the summer, or was it spring? Gunny might remember, or some of the other knowledgeable folks.:)

They tried it one year and it was in late June which is one of the hottest times of the year here. If you came to Ennis in March, April, or Sept it would be a different story.

I totally agree...IF NMRA ever went back to a full schedule, (10 races) I would love to see an event in Texas. From what I know of the ONLY time NMRA was in Texas, it was VERY hot, and turnout was poor....but was told that Advertising was minimum. But Dallas gets hottern' a &itch....Baytown would be a good alternative! IMO. FFW events usually draw a good crowd. I've been to Joliet last 2 years in a row....and FFW does that good or better, spectator wise, in Houston. But, they promote the event months ahead of time.

if they add 1 more race, ill just put the gun in my mouth...
a heavy schedule is killing ffw as we speak "not to mention other things"
But i would support droping Atco, and going somewhere else , preferably in the south :D

For what it's worth, we had our largest car count of the year in NJ.

I know, but the drive sucked, and so did the track conditions. But hey its NMRA not Josh's racing league :D

Hey all! Now it's Oct. 14th. 07, been to Bowling Green, did good in O/C, meet a bunch of nice folks, saw some very nice cars , and very pleased that I decided to race NMRA! Biggest downer of the whole trip? crossing back over Colorado River into Cal., and then stopping to fill up my diesel tanks! $3.79 a gallon!! I almost got into it with the guy at station, when I asked him for a kiss, he said why, and I said you just screwed me good, at least give a kiss!!!! Once more, good to race with everyone and I will be back to do it again! Thanks! Dale Hemrick 9667 O/C 1983 Merc Capri
