I will be installing an aluminum tank, sealed battery box and NO2 bottles in my hatch. All will be vented out under the car. Per NHRA rules will i still have to have a fire wall? Im prity sure I do, but Im still waiting on my rule book. Also, I completely cut out the floor in hatch area and I plan on making a frame out of 1"-2" square tubing to mount the tank and battery on, allowing them to be recessed below the frame rail. The same way circle track modifieds and and latemodels are. Is this legal?

Yes on both questions. I did as you are, and mounted mine low in the rails. Be careful, IF your gonna run wheelie bars, these could get in the way. I put mine low enough to cover them with sheetmetal....and then made an acess door to get to the fuel cell, and ice/water box (intercooler). it looks really good! Acess door is polished stainless.....If you want...I could send some pics.
I have an Aluminum firewall from Wolfe...never installed. Perfect shape...If interested....
Good Luck!
