Thursday Morning Update

Well, we had some big-time rain last night, but the storm has passed and they're out drying off the track so we can get some test-and-tune in today. The weather for the rest of the weekend is looking absolutely awesome, with no precipitation in the forecast past this afternoon. I'm told that we had 170 rigs come through the gates yesterday, with about the same parked out in the staging area this morning waiting for the gates to open, and that's not counting all the guys we know are going to arrive later in the day today.

Finally, we are happy to announce that we'll be having true, live results throughout the weekend via the Sagera timing system, which will provide both the cumulative results for qualifying and eliminations as well as up-to-the-minute data for each pass down the dragstrip. They need some type of message on-screen to let people know what's happening....ie, if there is a long pause for track clean-up,etc. Right now, it hasn't been working for awhile and i'm not sure if its the system or they are just haven't run any cars for awhile.

We were actually talking about that yesterday, and the suggestion has been made for the developers to implement some sort of message capability for just this sort of thing.

In case you're wondering, one of those freakin' Chevys tossed its cookies in the traps, and they've been cleaning it up for the last 40 minutes or so. Looks like we should be back up in just a few.

Only class that I dont see results from is F/S

Did they run rd 1?

They ran, but I think Sagera was tweaking something at that moment in time and the system didn't monitor the runs. I'm not positive who ran what, but I do know the class took their turn.
