I am in the process of building my 90 LX Notchback.
All of the wiring is done with the exception of the ignition box,i am currently trying to locate an MSD 7AL2 or 7AL3,i would like to mount the unit in the trunk of the car (opposite side from battery)along with My ANL fuses, kill switch, distribution block,ect.... is there any reason that the ignition box should not be mounted this far away from the coil?
Will i lose milliseconds in timing due to signal delay ect....?
Any input appreciated
Thanks

That Will Not Work You Need No Mount It Close To The Coil The Lead Is About 60" Long Just That You Run The Wire To Dis. Or Crabk Trigger By It's Self Not With Any Power Wires Most Mount On Rollcage On Pass Side Or In Floor Thanks

Thanks for your reply,i called MSD and the tech line said there is no reason they know of that would prevent it from working properly if installed in trunk.
