7th Annual NMRA Keystone Ford Nationals

The fifth stop on the 2007 Keystone NMRA tour will bring the best in Blue Oval doorslammer drag racing to Atco, New Jersey for the 7th Annual NMRA Ford Nationals presented by Downs Ford Motorsport on August 10-12. Atco Raceway, 'home track' for many of the series' competitors based in the northeast, will echo with the sounds of drag racing all weekend. In addition to the usual on-track excitement, the All-Ford Show and Shine presented by Laurel Mountain Mustang, and the massive manufacturer's midway, race fans will also get a special treat during qualifying, when not one, not two, but three championship classes fight it out for thousands of dollars in bonus cash.
The top drivers in the wheelstanding ProCharger EFI Renegade ranks will battle for their share of four grand in extra prize money in the Carnivore Performance Products Shootout during qualifying, while the naturally-aspirated Edelbrock Hot Street superstars get their shot at another $4000 in their own Shootout. 5.0 Magazine Real Street racers will also be hitting the strip in search of their share of $2300, up for grabs in the Nitto Tire Shootout. With literally every round of qualifying and eliminations paying cash money in these three classes, you can be sure that the racers will bring their "A game" straight off the trailer.
Don't forget about the six-second, two-hundred-plus mph action in DiabloSport Pro 5.0, the insane true-10.5 MSD Super Street Outlaw field, and the record-setting BFGoodrich Tires Drag Radial class - Atco might just see the first seven-second run for an NMRA car running on real DOT radial rubber.
