If i'm not mistaken most of the guys running 33x10.5w's are running 15x14 with beadlocks but you can get buy on a 31x10.5w with a 15x12 wheel. I like the beadlocks

We have the 15 x 12 Aluma Stars with double beadlock which makes the wheel more like 13" wide. I have seen guys go as wide as 16" with the 33 w's. We have run in the NMRA Outlaw class but our car is set up for the true 10" tire classes like ORSCA L/S and SSO but our nitrous engine is just too big for SSO so we ran in 10.5. If you have 14" wheels, they will work just fine for a W tire. I would invest in having them beadlocked or just buying a set already done. It is much safer with that size wheel and the W tire but 14" is the most popular size in 10.5. Good Luck and see you at the races.

do you use the 15x12 rim on the 31" or 33" tire?

We usually run the 29 stiff or the 29w but have run up to the 33's on this size wheel. With the beadlocks, it is more like 13" wide. Our car is an ORSCA Limited Street car but we race in Outlaw since the motor is too big for NMRA SSO. ORSCA will not allow anything over 13" and it has to be a true 10.5 tire as measured. Sorry for any confusion. I would say 14" wheels with the 33's but you can get away with running the 12's as we did on our old FFW S/O car .

Where you guys getting your "beadlocked" rims from? A buddy of mine was thinking of going 10.5" racing next year. He said nobody had them in stock.

Try one of these places. They keep wheels in stock but I am not sure about the right sizes. Champion can beadlock any racing wheel too and their products look and work great. Sheppard also does them in house and they are super nice too. If you can't find some ready to go call one of these guys. They can do the job and you will be well pleased. Good luck and I hope that this works for you.
