2008 NMRA Official Preliminary Rules

These are the final versions of the official 2008 preliminary rules. It is acknowledged that these rules are very close to the official final versions that will be released later this month. It is also acknowledged that there may be typos and oversights, and minor changes may be necessary prior to the release of the final official version of the 2008 NMRA official Rules & Regulations.

Anyone who desires to make an official NMRA request for clarification, correction or change, may only do so in WRITING. Telephone conversations with NMRA officials, staff members and/or contracted employees will NOT be considered in rules committee discussions and decisions. You must submit your official request no later than December 12, 2007.

THESE REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING!
(MESSAGE BOARD REQUESTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED)!!!

To be considered, your written request must include the following:
- Full Name
- Class
- NMRA Competition Number
- Membership expiration date

You may or may not receive a written response to your recommendation or request.

You may contact the NMRA tech line (714) 460-3813 and speak directly to the 2008 Rules Committee Chairman (Mr. Trey Capps) from 3:00pm EST to 7:00pm on December 11, 12 & 13 to insure the validity and confirmation of your request.
