Can someone please point me in the direction of any announcement that Torco was not going to be a legal spec fuel for 2008?
If you click above on this very website and check out the rules listed as 2008 for each class, Torco is listed. The class I'm specifically talking about is Real Street. I then looked in this forum for a rule revision posting and found nothing. I then searched this board for the word Torco. The only thing I could find was an unanswered question about Torco being legal. I do understand that it is NOT listed in the new printed rulebook that was available at Bradenton. But how was a racer to know Torco was not longer a legal spec fuel before arriving at the track?
I would like to know what happened here and if we missed the announcement about the rule change. This was a very expensive mistake. I would like to know where the breakdown in communcation was so we can avoid it in the future.
