So you don't have to taint your browser's history with a link to that site:
All classes run at any NMCA or NMRA event use the NHRA safety standards set by SFI and the NHRA. During the past 3 events I have noticed a disturbing trend alot of people that are not familiar with NHRA'a safety standards (helmets, belts, competition license etc) Find a current 2008 NHRA rule book and get your self familiar with these rules they are for your own safety and your fellow competitors. Helmets have to be at least a Snell 2000 or SFI 41.1A min. Full face helmet required for 9.99 and faster. Seat belts are only good for 2 years only if your belt expires on 0408 then you are good until the last day of April then you need a new set or send off your expired ones to get re-certified. If you plan on running faster then 10.00 you will need a competition license and your chassis needs to be certified by the NHRA call your local NHRA div. director for more info. We are all into this for the fun but remember safety first this is a very dangerous sport and things happen quickly. If you do not have any of the following during the tech in process you will not be able to race until the problem is fixed. Not being a hard ass just a reminder I hope to see all of you in Bowling Green.

Inside the helmet under the pading there should be an SFI decal that says M2000 or SA2005 it's a chrome decal with orange letters and numbers.

I'm suprised the tracks arent a little more pro active when it comes to enforcing the rules.
