p.s. the t&t stuff was on the wore out Lanman racing engine - I think it was the NHRA j/sa combo with the stock rockers and stuff like that! If it wasn't that one, it was that 100,000 mile oil burner! Bet that powerplant had 5 quarts of stop leak in it - NO LIE!

A very BIG congratulations to Mr Open Comp! A tired Larry G called me last night from his hotel room and gave me all the dope on the first event of the year, as far as O/C is concerned. Like I said, last week, you definitely can't go taking the "Mr Open Comp" name away from that guy.

Looks like the transition into the "new" (slower) car has been a smooth one. Nice job, Larry. Again, I'm glad to see you back on a winning track and anticipate and look forward to you stepping on the stage in Indy to receive a Class CHAMPION jacket this winter.

Good job, Open Comp racers. Brady, Cates, Stacy--heard the new ride is total insanity. Cool!
