It's been a tough day here at Milan, with rain in the morning, a dry afternoon long enough to get in some test & tune, and now more rain - Friday has been officially "called" as of 5:30 PM, and we'll pick it up tomorrow morning with the gates opening an hour early to make the most of Saturday. As a result of the copious liquid sunshine, today's Bits from the Pits are going to be a little light...

The $5000 bounty for the first BFGoodrich Tires Drag Radial competition pass in the sevens is still up for grabs, but if this pass straight off the trailer on a green track by John Kolivas is indicative of what's in store for tomorrow and Sunday, the eight second barrier looks like it's about to fall.

As a parting shot, the NMRA staff is always ready to adapt, improvise, and overcome, using whatever resources are available to make the most of the situation. With that spirit in mind, we'll see you tomorrow, but in the meantime there's a special bonus waiting for you - a gallery of photos from the exclusive Race Pages Centerline Cam!
