The all-new Super Stang class is off to a great start with 21 entries at the inaugural event in Milan, Michigan. What a great group of competitors. I can tell you many of our other sponsors and racers were impressed with the new class and the new racers it attracted.

Thank you all for participating and we look forward to seeing the Super Stang racers at NMRA Atco, NJ. Any Super Stang racers that want to race at our NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl event (July 17-20) can enter Mod Muscle, Open Comp, or True Street.

We are extremely excited and proud to be a sponsor and part of this class! The initial response from everyone was great and we thought we had something going here, but when i pulled into the staging lanes saturday morning and saw nearly 20 cars in the lans i was blown away! In all as stated 21 cars participated in the first ever event the class debuted! I want to thank everyone who came out to race. We had several performance shops show up with their own and customer cars! Brenspeed, Supertune performance, Sutton HP, and more all showed up ready to rumble in this S197 shootout! It was a sight too see and im sure everyone who attended the race was not let down by the display of awesome racing! Im really glad i got to be a part of this myself and can't wait to see everyone at the next event in our home state of New Jersey! We plan to have a large feild there even bigger than in Milan!

Would the Super-Stang racers need to pay a full seperate membership to run MM or OC at the Super Bowl event?

If I'm not mistaken, your NMRA membership is valid no matter what class you choose to run.

Remember, Chris, that you can't use the same car in two separate classes at the same event.

10-4 Jason 1 class per car but since the Super Stang Cars have permanant SS #'s and Super Stang racers are invited to race in IL - in either Mod Muscle, Open Comp - Will they be given tempory MM or OC #'s or use their SS #?

Thanks - I just want to make sure we don't have to pay for a new # for just 1 race. :rolleyes:

The only fee is for membership. If you need another number it will not be a problem to get you one at the race at no charge to you. The O\C and M\M do use a seporate numbering system than SST. So you will need to get another number at the Super Bowl. On a side note if you want to keep your number for 5 years there is a administrative cost involved.
