I have been using SCE gaskets since the begining of the year and have blow 2 sets of them in a short period of time. I am planning on changing over to the Cometic gaskets and taking out the lock wires. If there is anyone out there that is using Cometics please let me know what your feelings are about them and if you have any cons conserning these gaskets.

I put them on my super street outlaw this year. I have 15passes on them so far and no problems. I have the HP series.

Jason, from cometic says use the HP gaskets if you have an aluminum block and heads. Use the regular cometic gasket if you are using an iron block and aluminum heads. What are your combos? He told me if I use the HP gasket on an iron block and aluminum head you might have water leaks. How much power are you making on that Outlaw car?

I have not dyno'd the engine this year but it did go a 9.28 @ 151.6 on motor on the first full motor pass. I have an iron svo "W" block and Brodix neal heads. I haven't made any 1/4
nitrous passes yet, but have gone 5.23 @ 138.9 in the 1/8 on a two stage (250+200) criss-cross plate.
I'm pretty sure I have the HP series but I will get my invoice and double check.
