We've been receiving reports from our operatives all across the country, and gauging what the fuel situation looks like for travel to and from the NMRA Finals. Overall, it seems that availability is back to normal, and prices have stabilized, down significantly from their peak over the summer. Here's what we've heard:
Florida - No fuel problems at all (Glen from Steeda and Mike from Power TV)
Mississippi - No fuel problems at all (Stan and Jeff from TCI)
Texas - No fuel problems at all (Olan Gotcher and MSD's Todd Ryden)
Kentucky - No fuel problems at all (Phil from Holley)
Tennessee:
Memphis - No fuel problems at all (Chris from Comp Cams)
Nashville - They have fuel problems, but are expected to be gone in next few days
Georgia:
Atlanta - They have fuel problems, but are expected to be gone in next few days (Scott from Barry Grant and Victor from Moore Good Ink)
Areas Surrounding Atlanta - No fuel problems at all (Victor from Moore Good Ink)
We're still looking for reports for SC, AL, and LA, so if you have first-hand info, post it up; we don't believe there are any problems in these regions, though. A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who contributed information, too...
