wow, it looks like he is still using winpep 6... winpep 7 has been out for like 3yrs.

If I remember correctly, his dyno was put in 3 yrs ago. Is it just a software change Bob? What are the differences?

big difference is winpep dyno numbers are inflated.. mainly the torque reading.

Would that explain why my tq is so much higher than the hp?? 737hp/792tq. I thought it was strange.

yup... put it on the same dyno with winpep 7 and itll show 20hp less and 150tq lower.

ive talked to him a number of times... Should i have just flat out lied?? Also, isnt the track where it matters anyhow?? :)

No bigee Eric, Bob is a straight shooter and I value his knowlege. He told me how to make our cog belt arrangement live when no one else could a few yrs ago and helped me out at the track back in the summer too. Bob is the man! As far as I'm concerned, dyno numbers are just numbers--I put a lot more faith in a time slip.

Yes, it's the track that does matter Bob.

You going to head to Joilet since FFW won't be at Norwalk this coming year?

Maybe.............probably cutting back a bit in '09 and try to make 2-3 events so Joliet might be a possibility. Since FFW has been doing the Q8 at each True Street race I am assuming they will still do it at BBB. I have heard rumurs that they might make some event in OH and if that is the case, we will try for that also. I haven't looked much for the schedules yet though.

I'm not sure wherr they would do it in Ohio, that would be big enough. Norwalk is going to replace FFW with a Nostagic Ford event and Trails already has the NMRA there.
