I just worked up the points and it seems like the only changes were to positions 7 thru 10. This was a great season and I really enjoyed meeting all of you. I am chomping at the bit to get back into this class again in 2009. Thanks to Jim D'Amore for sponsoring this class - we couldn't have raced without you. I was supposed to take 2008 off from racing (except for Columbus), but you got me to come to all 4 of the SST races (in my wife's Daily Driver). I wouldn't have traded it for the world. Thanks again.

1. Larry Russell Jr. - 2175
2. Paul Gamino - 1720
3. Bobby Barrick - 1665
4. Pete Espeut - 1125
5. Jim Gilmour - 960
6. James D'Amore III - 710
7. Ryan Gallowan - 670
8. Ron Willim - 580
9. Kent Nine - 575
10. Roger Banks - 565

My sediments exactly Jim.

I haven't run down a track since 1993. Came out to Milan intending to run True Street and ended up entering Super Stang. Had a blast.

First time running my car since I've had it, to bad I smashed it up in the downpour on the way home Friday, June 13th, but didn't let it get me down. Taped it up and ran through the weekend.

It was enough fun and I met some cool people that made me want to go to the other events. It was killing me to be home for Atco, even with the rain out. But my car was in pieces with no LH qtr. on it :(

Looking forward to whatever next season brings.

I think so. Finish is not as great as it appears., but thank you. Disappointed in myself. Redlight or sleeping last two events. Got to clean the cobwebs out and get back into the groove. It isn't like riding a bike afterall.

Car was a mess all season too. Still working on it. Eat 2 clutches and then 6 belts. Think I have all that fixed as of the last pass in BG.

Still had a lot of fun though. I sure did miss it afterall. Drag Racing sure has come a long way since my days at Detroit Dragway
