After the turn out @ Maplegroove and Record setting ET's what do you guys and gals think the Top 5 ET'S will be and who? Let's keep this in mind there r 2 Drag Radial Racers that only run the local events here and r very fast. Also I sold the Green Notch Drag Radial Car to another Drag Radial Racer who made some very serious changes, which the car has already been 9.15@155mph with an air to air....#2 Man Anthony Curto found his problems in a 7-2al box was for a 4cyl...9.1@154mph not bad for an 4cyl Ign box. Big Bob Mac is Ironing out some of his problems, he's getting ready....Ty "top Fuel" Krean is ready....

So Drag Radial Racers check this out. Drag Radial started from trash talking street racers that thought they could out drive their friends and win even with less horsepower...On the street and evolved to the track...so let's make this a little more exciting...

Each Drag Radial Racer pays 5 bucks.. the pot gets split 2 ways. Guess the top ten quailiers and the 4 semi finalists. The Racer with the most right in either catergory wins the pot. Remember any one can win......Both, one, or none.....

Well it happened, Things dont look good for me making the ATCO race.

No matter how much money I spend on fixing and repairs my damn car just keeps breaking. I knew racing wasnt cheap but, DAMN, I have spent way too much money on my car, and I havent even been able to drive it more than 3 times in the past 8 weeks.

Keep in mind this is my street driven car. If it's not the rear, its the tranny, if not the tranny it's the rear. Then the clutch, which was a big waste of 600 freaking dollars. now I wasted another 1,100 dollars and I cant even make the ATCO race.

I am selling my car and I am buying 2 wheels. I LOVE mustangs and racing, but I just simply can't afford to dump anymore money into something that I can't enjoy.

So the RED car is being sold, and I am going to try and figure out a new way to have fun. Not like I was going to set any records, but damn, I was trying to have fun in DR. I met alot of awesome people, but I guess it's time to rethink some things.

I am just not happy with how the car is. And before I dump anoth 8,000 dollars into it, I am going to sell it, and buy something else. I am not even sure yet what I am goign to do.

But everytime I get something fixed, something else breaks.

I hate it, I can't even drive the car anymore!!!!

I am just nto sure what is going on, and It is killing to look at my car sitting there, I was supposed to have a new radiator, and nto those plans got screwed up, I am just sick of nto being able to drive my car.

I am going to the motocycle shop tomorrow, so i may just be at ATCO on a 2 wheeler !!!

Scott, I used to feel the same way Bro. Just ask Kell, everytime I fix something or make it faster, somethin else breaks that costs at least twice as much to fix! well, I fixed everything wrong with it, basically replacing the WHOLE car.. lol and its all good now, just dump 20k into it and it'll be cool, lol jk. Well< i have all but made my mind up, unless i found something else. I will not be at ATCO. I just can't afford the cost of fixing my car.

I have on the other hand, found a 86GT, that has a very nicely built chassis, and a 358ci motor. I am going to see if i can retain the NOVI 2000, and make majic happen.

Either way I should be at ATCO herassing a few select people.

the world of racing. break it fix it.... break somthing else fix that ..start over ...spend another twenty G's it never ends but you know what i wouldnt give it up for anything right now. I may be rediculously in debt and just used my car payment money to buy a set of adjustable shocks but hey .....im making atco.

Scott we have all been there and have some way pulled through.

Shoot last year this time i just grenaded a brand new novi 2000 (that wasnt even mine ...sorry Fred Felt) destroyed a set of heads hurt the motor and broke the trans. but damn it saturday morning i was in the tech line bolting the intake on, not to mention about $5,000 in the hole.

Poor Big Bob breaks a blower every time he fires his car up. hehehe

I think all of us at some point have missed driving our cars on the street but then when you get that one pass that puts up a good # and makes you proud as hell .......you realized why you have made the sacrifices and decisions that you did.

people dont go fast right off the trailor on their first time at the track. most of us have been at this for years. Personally ive been racing my car since i was 18 .....almost 6yrs. and i have broke everything you can imagine. I probably could be driving a nasty paid for Benz right now but i chose this road. Besides a Benz aint gonna do over 122 in the 1/8.

Most of all the best advice i could give you is ....Be smart dont dig your self into a hole that you cant climb out of. Drag Radial is a very expensive class.

AND TRUST ME SH!T IS GOING TO BREAK

I know we talked earlier and I was a lil pissed off, Please by no means ever think it was your fault. You and the shop Ellas Performance have helped me so much. Remember the night a few weeks ago when No One slept for over 24+ hours, but hey you guys got the job doen, and gave me one bad azz amazingly quick street car.

It was my choice to go to the C-4, and I am happy trust me. I just have to understand that with going faster comes upgrading, repairing and fixing parts and the car. I am bery lucky to have a Performance shop that can handle such a task and build such a car.

I have nto and am NOT giving up, I have never quit anything in my life, and after some cool down time, I will be at ATCO.

I may not be the fastest car out there, but damnitt, I will have fun.


I spend money,I make money, I spend more. I'll put it thsi way, I can go out and get drunk or have fun that way, but I'd rather spend it on my car, and go faster. I knew I was goignt o have fun, but hey, I just got the bug liek so many other people.

I am just going to buy a tralier and go even faster.

I know how you feel..hell look at what ive been goin through, and this is with my daily driver! I had to sell the project race car because my daily had too many probs that i couldnt afford to put anything into even startin a class car lol. gott love that one! and it kills me to drive it the way it is now (not to mention embarressing) but hey thats what i get for being into cars so much.

Just remember, when you think you've had enough, there is always someone in a worse position than you are. Dont give up on it! Besides, i still owe ya some pics form the line, so ya cant quit hehehe :D Things have a way of working out, and you know i only live a mile away, if you ever need a hand, ya know i like gettin greasy hehe ;)

SUPPOSED.. as far as hooking better... we had to kill it down low to get it to hook... but theres not enough left on the big end to play catch up..so pretty much we have to give it everything and HOPE it hooks. so heres what i got..

I got me some new Nikes, and I am coming for all you Drag Radial boys.

Not only am I packing 302 cubic inches of stock block, but I got my flux compacitor dialed in for 14 pounds of cook a pizza hot boost. After I add the Purple Rush gatorade, look out!!!!!


And now i only have to make 2 gear changes instead fo 3, so I am ready to put on all my old ice hockey equipment and score a goal. Oh wait wrong sport. Now if anyone would kindly like to tell me what that little light is that comes on when i hit 9,600 rpm's that would be a great help, I just can't figure out what this green stuff is in my engine area, it's all over!!!!

POOL, I was in a pool league for 4 years, I am a very good pool player, I will take take on all challengers, their will be a sign up at my car. I do not have a trailer, so looks like I am going to limp my C-4 down to ATCO and race the hard way. Thats cool, I just want to be there. I love racing, and I wouldnt miss ATCO if i had a broken leg, I'd still be there. After the race I will get a new combo together, and get serious. Hope everyone takes advantage of the pool table, and the 6 TV's ill be their when I am not stuffing my skinny ass with FOOD.

Sucks after I spent the last 6 weeks figuring out why it would only make 5psi til the 330 mark. But it sure helps. i wish I had the money to get the big players to talk to me, help me out, and take me seriously.

Anymore it seems like, if you don't have the money, no matter how much you try you just come up short. I can't afford to try things, if I am not sure if they are good or bad. That is why I myself got out of Drag Radial, I just couldnt afford to keep up. Which is cool, I realized that and I went to a another more affordable class for my college bank account.

This is NO WAY takes anythign away from Drag Radial it is, and will be my favorite class and I think it is amazing how everyone just keeps going faster and faster, a real testiment to research, testing and getting the most out of their combo.
