As far as safety gear goes, you will need to have a certified chassis. You will also need a helmet that is snell 2000 or 2005 approved. You will need a fire suit that is SFI 32a-5 approved Jacket and pants. Gloves that are SFI approved,Neck collar, and shoes. You have enough power to run low 5's at that weight.

I have all the saftey clothes, I need to get the chassis certified. The car has
a 4.56 in it right now, I was told it ran in the low 5.0's in 1/8 on 375 shot. The 4.56 I think is good for 1/4 mile? I'm thinking it needs alot more gear
for 1/8 mile to run faster. Keep the rpm up??????????? Thanks Pete
