Derek Hoffert did a great job winning THE Bradenton JDM Super Stang event. He navigated his way through a tough field with his Shelby GT 500 - not an easy task with a manual trans!
Great Job this weekend....Here's how he did it.
1st Round Kenny Klinger had a .016 redlight vs him
2nd round he inched out Michael Dellisanti for a .068 MOV:cool:
3rd round Joe Cram had a bad light & broke out (sorry Joe) vs Derek
4th round Derek had a BYE run:cool:
5th and Final round he beat me after I broke out  Arrrrug....
Here's a photo of Derek's black ride next to my car just before our last qualifier pass Saturday.

Isn't that a 6 speed?
Congrats to all of you. And Congrats to JDM for the good turn out.
Really wish I could play with you boyz again this year...but things are to rocky in Michigan and the US Auto Biz. Hours and pay have been cut :( Staff at MAHLE cut 25% globally, but I dodged that bullet...for now
Good luck to all of you and have a safe and fun season. Going to try to at least make Milan and/or Columbus.

Thanks guys, it was a blast to even get to compete there. My wife and I moved to FL last summer and this is our first event we could compete in since our move do to financial reasons. There were plenty of fast cars there and aside from being stuck at the big end of the track in the sand trap it was awesome. Chris, I am glad to have got a chance to meet you and it was an honor to race the previous year's winner. Also thanks for posting up the results and videos, and thank you Team JDM for making the videos and posting them on youtube, my family has really enjoyed them.
