What's the correct way to install the battery cut off switch so it kills the alternator too?? I have been told numerous different ways and none of them have worked......

To start with, put the switch on the pos. side of the battery, this is a must because in the event of a rollover , a battery can find an alternative ground ( the trunklid for instance). You have two ways to do it, the best being, 1- Run the alternator big wire from the alternator, to the switch, then to the positive side on the battery instead of to the solenoid, that way it gets cut off with the switch. 2- you can install a relay in the stator wire(blue) on the alternator, run the stator wire on the big side of the relay, and then run a wire from a source that when the battery switch is on, it powers up. Remember #1 being the best and the most correct way. P.S. the reply chrisfilyaw posted is also correct, these are just an easier way to do it.
