After my OE T-5 started to whine and scream and the Dual friction clutch disk exploded I installed a new clutch and a used "z" tranny from a good friend. To no fault of his own the tranny was already hurt. I went to the track on Friday and now the tranny is jacked in 4th gear. It still drives but it a loud as hell and definatly needs some work.
I might be changing out trannys. I was just curious what you guys thought I should go with. I was thinking TKO but I really want a 6 speed. Has any one heard if the new T-56 out of an 03 Cobra will swap on to a 5.0 yet? Let me know what you guys think.
