The NMRA blasts into the 2016 season with guns blazing, starting the year off right at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida, over the weekend of March 3-6, 2016. As the traditional jumping-off point for the NMRA season, Bradenton always brings record-setting weather and a great racing surface to the NMRA competitors.

The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals Series has a little bit of everything for the racing fan all weekend long ? from the hardcore VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaw class that features turbo- and supercharged door-slammers that are capable of burning up the quarter-mile, to the heavy hitters of the Edelbrock Renegade class shooting for glory with their state-of-the-art small-block Ford engines. Fans and racers alike wait all winter for this event to take place, so make sure you?ve got your seat in the stands to be a witness to it all!

Love Street Outlaws? So do we and you can meet Chris ?BoostedGT? Hamilton of the hit TV show Street Outlaws as he signs autographs and poses for pictures all day Saturday. Things heat up on the track as NMRA?s Street Outlaw class features 2,000+ hp Mustang monsters set on kill for your enjoyment. Plan to stay late as BoostedGT participates with other street racers in the first NMRA Grudge Night of the year!

NMRA Grudge Night!

Things get crazy after hours as Saturday evening descends on Bradenton?s 1/4 mile with the first NMRA Grudge Night of the year! Watch as the fastest Ford powered street racers in the U.S. take on each other and Street Outlaws? BoostedGT for big money and serious bragging rights. Grudge Night takes place following NMRA?s Saturday class action.

Meet House of Grudge's Mike Murillo!

Only the NMRA Spring Break Shootout can attract TV celebrities like House of Grudge?s Mike Murillo. Murillo, a former NMRA & NMCA world champion, is no stranger to Ford Nationals action and always looks forward to seeing his fans. Come out and get a picture and autograph from Murillo and then witness the spectacle called NMRA Grudge Night as big money changes hands between some of the fastest street cars on the planet.

Have a quick street Mustang?...Cruise it! Then prove it on the track!

QA1 True Street Presented by Muscle Mustangs has been one of the most popular drag racing classes in the United States. With easy-to-follow rules, True Street has everything from mild to wild, and beginner to seasoned racer. The event begins with Saturday a 30-mile escorted cruise, with other True Street racers to prove the street worthiness of all cars entered in the competition. Next, everyone hits the track for three back-to-back passes, with cash and awards presented immediately following the event.

TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout - Long-time NMRA True Street supporter, TREMEC has announced that they will once again hold the Stick Shift Shootout at the Spring Break Shootout to determine who has the fasted manually-shifted street Mustang in the U.S! Watch as over 100 entrants battle for top True Street honors, with the fastest 8 stick cars receiving a special shootout plaque to recognize their prowess. From there things will heat up as the quickest two manual-equipped vehicles will have an all-out slugfest with a ?winner takes all' heads-up finale for the chance to take home a brand new TREMEC transmission of choice!

On Sunday, The Muscle Mustangs Spring Break Shootout class, gets cranking as the fastest 16 cars from Saturday?s True Street competition compete heads-up for even more cash, prizes and magazine coverage. To be eligible for the Spring Break shootout, competitors meet True Street rules and make all three passes on Saturday. The top 16 cars will be placed on a Sportsman ladder and will race with a 4/10 pro tree.

Ford Performance Cobra Jet Showdown Presented by Watson Racing

Spring Break Shootout fans are in for an extra special treat at this year's event as Ford factory race cars compete in the Ford Performance Cobra Jet Showdown! Witness one of the largest gatherings of Cobra Jets parked together in what NMRA calls the "snake pit." Several times each day the snakes will hit the track for the ultimate Blue Oval slugfest of power and performance. These Ford-built race cars will put on a high speed show all weekend long in search of glory and bragging rights for winning the Cobra Jet Showdown!

ROUSH Road Crew at NMRA Florida!

ROUSH Road Crew has made this year's NMRA Spring Break Shootout their first event of the year! This event is a first for ROUSH Road Crew that allows them to start off the season with a bang by enjoying some time on the old 1320, in the car show field, or both. Nobody knows Ford performance better than Jack Roush, and the Spring Break Shootout will grow even bigger as ROUSH Road Crew participants help fill up the pits and show car area.

Shelbys and Terminators on the same track?

That's right! The NMRA Season Opener also features a shootout between the baddest Shelby GT500's and '03 Cobras on the same track, on the same day, with the same conditions. Watch as some of the coolest Ford Factory Street cars go wheels-up and wild!

The Quickest eight racers in this class will be peeled off to compete in the UPR Products Quick 8, while the others will continue to compete in their own category.

Turbo Coyote Shootout

Turbo Coyote Shootout is designed for the some of the fastest late-model Fords on the planet! Turbocharged coyote-powered Mustangs are matched in a heads-up competition showcasing the incredible power of Ford's flagship platform.
