All the cars and all the stars of NMRA Ford drag racing will return once again to famed Maple Grove Raceway for the ultimate Blue Oval slugfest! Last year's event was huge, and this year's NMRA event promises to be even bigger as word spread around the Ford drag racing world that Maple Grove's facility is among the best in the U.S. and the racing surface is perfect for setting national records. This is a "must attend" event for any Ford fanatic where they will see the best in NMRA and Ford motorsports!

This event will also bring out each of the NMRA's premier heads-up classes - the epitome of Ford drag racing. Many of the NMRA's regulars live within close proximity to Maple Grove Raceway and use it for testing, so they may have a leg up on the competition due to their familiarity with the facility - but don't let that fool you! Each racer coming from afar will be looking to take their shot for all the glory on the 1320 in their respective classes and take down those local stars, so get your tickets early for this one - it's sure to be a classic.

I want to race - How do I do it?

The NMRA offers many different classes for all different levels of racer. From the entry-level True Street class all the way up to the aforementioned Street Outlaw class - if you've got a Ford-powered, Ford-bodied car, there's a class for you to fit in. The True Street class draws the largest participation, with vehicles ranging from the fifteen-second zone all the way down to eight-second heavy hitters.

Muscle Mustangs All-Female Shootout

Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords will team up with American Muscle to present a special race class exclusive to NMRA's female competitors. NMRA lady racers will first race in their own ladies-only QA1 True Street class on Saturday (must meet all TS rules) with their own cash prizes and awards. On Sunday the eight quickest racers from Saturday?s True Street competition will compete heads-up in the All-Female Shootout for cash, awards, and the coveted title of All-Female Shootout champion and major magazine coverage in Muscle Mustangs! All racers not eligible for the All-Female Shootout will receive a free entry into Sunday?s Bracket Showdown.

All-Ford Stock/Super Stock Combo Showdown

Micro Strategies is proud to present a special All-Ford Stock/Super Stock Combo Showdown class that?s open to all NHRA and IHRA Stock and Super Stock competitors, who will battle for the $4,000 cash purse and a trip to the Aerospace Components Winners Circle! The All-Ford Stock/Super Stock Combo Showdown will feature the most exciting Ford and Mercury NHRA and IHRA sportsman cars in the northeast, including Fox-bodied Mustangs, classic Mustangs, Cougars and the latest Cobra Jets that ravage the quarter-mile with giant wheelies and 8-second elapsed times.

Love bracket racing? If so, be sure to enter your Mustang or Ford in 1 of 4 bracket classes: Fast Ford, Quick Ford, Street Ford, or Nostalgia Ford. Things really heat up Sunday afternoon as the class winners face off in an all out slugfest for the right to be crowned Super Ford Showdown champion! After the winner is proclaimed, he/she will be taken to the Aerospace Components winners circle, drenched in champagne, and awarded the Super Ford Showdown champion?s trophy. The Super Ford Showdown champion will also receive a class entry and a personalized, reserved parking spot for the following season in a high visibility location along with a special feature in Race Pages, the official publication of the NMRA series.
