Drag Racing
The NMRA Ford Nationals was built on drag racing from its highly competitive heads-up categories to the wide-variety of index classes to fit your vehicle, NMRA is home to the most exhilarating championship drag racing with cars just like your Mustang or Ford. Certain events feature specialty shootouts that capture exciting trends, including the brand-new 8.60 Street Race heads-up/index. True Street is the longest running and largest street car class in the history of drag racing and it also the easiest category to enter at an NMRA event.
Car Show
For more than 20 years the NMRA Ford Nationals has hosted Show & Shine car shows that attract daily drivers up to the highest levels of Ford show vehicles. All levels of participation is about having fun while showing off your pride and joy and being part of a major Ford motorsport event. From premium show grounds to a full day in the car show, watching drag racing, browsing the manufacturer’s midway, and enjoying NMRA’s special features, the UPR Products Show & Shine is the easiest and most fun way to get involved in a national event.
Midway / Swap
Each NMRA Ford Nationals event includes a Manufacturer’s Midway with dozens of the hottest brands offering show specials and the ability to talk one-on-one with manufacturer reps. The NMRA hosts a Swap Meet at the Spring Break Shootout (Bradenton, Florida) and the NMRA World Finals + Holley Ford Fest (Bowling Green, Kentucky) with hard-to-find components and smoking deals on used parts—don’t waste time on the internet, NMRA Swap Meets feature great deals and rare parts.
