2020 Race Pages Virtual Trade Show

The year 2020 will be remembered as one that was so strange that it postponed the two biggest automotive aftermarket trade shows—SEMA and PRI. This leaves all those member companies struggling to find a place to show off their most important products, old and new.

With that in mind, here is RacePagesDigital.com’s version of a virtual trade show. This section will run for the next few months with select companies highlighting the products they want you to see.

Chevrolet Performance’s new LS427/570 builds on the track-bred performance of the LS7 engine and enhances it in two important ways: More power and easier installation.

A new, high-lift camshaft developed specifically for this engine helps produce a GM-estimated 570 horsepower and 540 lb-ft of torque — increases of 65 horsepower and 70 lb-ft over the regular-production engine — while the new wet-sump oiling system eliminates the need for the installer to incorporate a separate oil tank, oil lines and other ancillary components to support the production LS7’s dry-sump system.

Compared to the production LS7 crate engine assembly, the LS427/570 features an F-body aluminum oil pan and a specific wet-sump oil pump. Additional engine highlights include the unique camshaft, higher-rate valve springs, Gen 5 Camaro Z/28 exhaust manifolds and a 14-inch Z/28 manual transmission flywheel. Use with the LS427/570 Engine Controller Kit P/N 19420000 (sold separately). Visit Chevrolet.com/Performance-Parts for more information.

Performance Distributors’ new Deluxe D.U.I. for Street/Strip applications encompasses every feature you’d ever want in an ignition system. Four terrific features are included in one Davis Unified Ignition package.

First, the new Cross-Fire Cap allows you to route your plug wires neatly on each cylinder bank.

You get the same 50,000 Volt DUI Coil and high dwell Dyna-Module as you do with our standard

Street/Strip DUI, but with the sleek look of your plug wires being well organized. It’s only available in a Black cap but it can be painted to match any engine compartment’s theme.

Second, is the Adjustable Slip Collar. The unit features a slip collar with 7/8-inch of adjustability. This is great if you’ve decked your heads or milled your block, which changes the distance between where your distributor rests on your intake and where it meshes with your cam gear. This will ensure a precise installation, while preventing engine damage from the distributor being out of alignment.

Third, a Carbon Ultra-Poly composite gear is used. It is compatible with any camshaft!

Whether you run a solid, hydraulic, factory roller, or steel billet roller cam, this gear will provide unmatched strength and reliability. Solves wear problems associated with other gears.

And of course, every D.U.I. is calibrated on a distributor machine, providing a super smooth advance curve.

This provides you with instant throttle response and more power. The mechanical advance is coordinated to work in conjunction with the vacuum advance preventing engine damaging detonation. Visit PerformanceDistributors.com or call (901) 396-5782 for more information.
