After racers weighed-in on a name for the new NMRA foot-brake class, the NMRA Competition Department has announced that the new index class will be called Ford Muscle . The eliminator will debut at the season opener in Bradenton, Florida on March 3-6 at the 22nd Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout presented by Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine. The class is a new foot-brake only index class for 1955 and later Ford vehicles on a .500 full tree off indexes from 9.50 to 15.50.
