E25A3485 copy-2 copy(1) It is that time of the year where racers from all across the country set their GPS navigation for Bradenton Motorsports Park where the NMRA Keystone Automotive Drag Racing Series kicks off this week, March 3-6, 2016. The regular line-up of heads-up, index, and QA1 True Street madness will ensue when the gates open and adding to the excitement will be the Turbo Coyote Shootout, which is being sponsored by Fluid Turbo Concepts. The Turbo Coyote Shootout is simple take a 2011 and new Mustang 5.0 and stuff a turbo on it, roll the car out on stock-suspension, and let it ride. The turnout has been great from some of the most compelling street cars to mild 10-second rides that are virtually stock with a just turbo and set of sticky tires. Some take the racing more seriously than others but the end game of going fast and having fun is always the same. There are three Turbo Coyote Shootouts throughout the NMRA season with the second one taking place during the WyoTech Ford Motorsports Nationals, presented by Juggernaut Power, held at Maple Grove Raceway over the weekend of April 28 through May 1, 2016. The final edition goes down during the biggest and baddest Ford race in the world the 18th annual Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals held at Beech Bend Raceway September 29 through October 1, 2016. Fluid Turbo Concepts specializes in twin turbo systems for Coyote 5.0L engine platforms and designed for street and racing applications. The system has helped push Mustangs to the brink of the 7s on the drag strip and speeds in excess of 200 mph in standing mile competition.
