The NMRA Ford Performance Nationals is going to get charged up with the Hard Drive Racing Cobra Jet Invitational at Summit Motorsports Park June 9-12, 2022. The invitational brings in the most successful factory drag racing program and it joins an already stacked line-up of Ford drag racing and car show action, making this a wild stop on the NMRA tour.
The Hard Drive Racing Cobra Jet Invitational uses the NMCA Factory Super Car rules to put the baddest Cobra Jet racers against each other. The 7-second racecars will all vying for a piece of the $12,400 cash purse, of which the winner walks away with $7,500. If your Cobra Jet isn’t in shootout trim, don’t worry because the vehicles can fit into NMRA ARP Open Comp or Exedy Racing Clutch Modular Muscle—be sure to check the rules on the NMRA website.
“The Cobra Jets have been doing great in the NMCA series, winning two out of the first three events this year.
