Juggernaut Power has stepped up its support of the NMRA in 2016 as the Eastford, Conn., supplier of turnkey performance-based S550 Mustangs will be the presenting sponsor of the Ford Motorsport Nationals April 28-May 1 at Maple Grove Raceway. Rey Rivera, President of Juggernaut Power says it was a natural fit for the company to get involved with the NMRA. Being a former NMRA racer, he knows the level of enthusiasm Mustang owners have. A huge percentage of people buy them for the performance associated with the brand. What we do here is take the S550 and modify it to the customer's specifications. We're not about fancy badging. We take each car and build it by hand into a performance machine, not just an aesthetic vehicle. We want to make sure each of our customers see the value for what they are paying for, Rivera said. Rivera will also be entering into the extremely competitive Coyote Modified field in 2016 with a Juggernaut-badged Mustang. I think we have something for the rest of the guys. Hopefully we'll do really well, he said. Rivera, a military veteran, added that monies won from his racing effort will be donated to various veteran organizations in the Northeast, which focus specifically on PTSD and homeless veterans.
