He was .009 to lead qualifying again at the 10th Annual NMCA/NMRA All-Star Nationals in April at Atlanta Dragway, and he won with an 11.99 on an 11.97 dial against Larry Firestone at the 15th Annual NMRA Ford Supernationals in June at National Trail Raceway in Ohio.
The Illinois-based driver broke out with an 11.73 on an 11.84 to runner-up against Miles Wagoner at the 13th Annual Nitto NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing presented by Fuel Systems Technology ini at Route 66 Raceway in Illinois, and saving the best for last, he won with an 11.86 on 11.81 dial against Andy Ransford at the 20th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals in September at Beech Bend Raceway in Kentucky and earned his third straight NMRA Roush Performance Super Stang championship in a row.
