McLeod Racing Backs 10R80 Shootout at NMRA World Finals

The Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals + Holley Intergalactic Ford Fest, taking place September 27-29 at Beech Bend Raceway, is going to be the biggest Ford motorsport event of the year, bringing all generations of Ford enthusiasts together in one location. McLeod by Raybestos is proud to introduce the 10R80 Throwdown, open to Mustangs, F-150s, and anything else with Ford's latest Overdrive transmission. The goal is get these vehicles on track and showcase the modern era of Ford performance. McLeod by Raybestos is a great product line that offers 10R80 transmission upgrades to help handle the output of today's powerful Coyote engines. We collaborated with the drivetrain specialists at McLeod Racing to bring this shootout to the NMRA World Finals + Holley Ford Fest, giving the 10R80 crowd an exclusive class all to themselves, says Rollie Miller, General Manager and National Event Director of the NMRA Ford Nationals. Drag racing is the main attraction for this super-sized event and we want to invite all the coolest late-model cars with the 10R80 transmission to drop in and have fun. They will also be racing for a $2,800 purse, of which the winner will walk away with $1,500 guaranteed and no minimum car count required. The McLeod by Raybestos 10R80 Throwdown is open to any Ford vehicle that is equipped with a 10R80 transmission and powered by a Ford engine, regardless of body-style. Total Venue Concepts is handling the track prep and when combined with the cool Fall air of Bowling Green, Kentucky, the racing conditions will be outstanding to enable competitors to run personal best ETs and record runs.
