Miles of Memories and another great weekend spent with Mustang friends at the Somernites Cruise Annual Mustang Alley Event in Somerset, Kentucky.

Having traveled 264,000 miles around the country in her 2013 Mustang GT, Bridgett Davis said “this is one of my favorite events to attend each year. Ford & Mustang owners and enthusiasts gathered or the Somernites Cruise Guinness World Record Attempt for ‘Longest Ford Parade’ With attendees from over 20 states.”

The current World Record for the "Longest Ford Parade" is 1,527 Ford only vehicles (no Mercury, Edsel, Lincoln, etc) and was set in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2016. Unfortunately, we were not successful in breaking the record this weekend, but we did have 1,201 Fords registered to be part of the event.

“Even though we didn’t break the record, I am impressed by the love for all things Ford this year from people who traveled from around the country to attend. I would gladly return next year for a second attempt and the organizers, volunteers, police, and locals did an awesome job hosting and welcoming all the Ford and Mustang owners from around the country,” she added.

A two-day event, Somernites SuperCruise presented by Holley, includes the Annual "Mustang Alley" presented by Alton Blakley Ford, a Burnside Meet & Greet, a cruise on the famous “Rattlesnake Run,” (a remote twisty road in the foothills of southern Kentucky), drag racing at London Dragway, and the Somernites Cruise-in on Saturday at Fountain Square in Downtown Somerset, Kentucky. With over 3,000 total cars participating in the different events, this is one event any Ford and Mustang enthusiast should consider attending.
