NMRA Adjusts Daily Schedules for St. Louis, Georgia, and Ohio

Posted By: Mike Galimi
Race officials from the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals have adjusted the daily Index class schedules for the Scoggin Dicky Parts Center NMRA/NMCA Power Festival (Madison, IL), NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals (Commerca, GA), and the Nitrous Supply NMRA/NMCA All-American Nationals (Norwalk, OH) after several discussions with racers. Racer feedback is important and several racers approached me the other day regarding the Index category's daily schedules, asking us for a time trial on Friday morning, stated Rollie Miller, General Manager and National Event Director. He continued, After looking our competition log book and talking with other staff members, we are more than happy to make the scheduled adjustment as requested. We should be capable of pulling off the new schedule with the time trail during a smooth running event. Miller stated that the schedule is always subject to change based on weather and other uncontrollable factors but the game plan going into those three events will have a Friday morning test session and round one of qualifying that afternoon. He also would like all Index competitors to be aware, the categories that have 33 or more cars, please be prepared to run round one for that category on Saturday night. The Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing is unable to accommodate the schedule like the other events due to the block of time required on Sunday night for the Nitto Tire Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing. In addition, there are concerns with a curfew for each night at that facility.
