January 12, 2022—The NMRA Tech Committee released today, an update in the Coyote Stock Rules clarifying the Engine Drive Belt System verbiage.
The change is “Serpentine Belt Drive System is not required. OEM or Aftermarket Alternator and or Water pump pulleys permitted.”
This clarification is needed following the changes made earlier in the Preliminary 2022 Coyote Stock rules that include:
· Alternators are not required.
· Electric Water Pumps are permitted.
