NMRA Introduces WhAtsapp Communication System
NMRA has implemented a WhatsApp system that Race Officials will use to communicate with Racers, Vendors, Sponsors and Media, starting with the NMRA Ford Homecoming event next week at Summit Motorsports Park June 8-1. This WhatsApp system replaces the text messenger system we used in the past.
Going forward, we will be sending the following information directly to your mobile device through the WhatsApp group chats:
- Daily Schedules
- Staging Lane Calls
- Heads Up Class Pairing Sheets
- Qualifying Results
- Elimination Ladders
- Weather Updates
Make sure you're signed up for your class group or groups. Groups are specific to each class.

- Step 1 - The link to download the WhatsApp messenger App for either iPhone or Android phones. Download the APP.
- Step 2 - Click the link to your specific class - that will take you to that class chat. Click on Join Chat and you are IN!
We have these class chats locked so only the NMRA officials/admins can make posts in these groups.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WHATSAPP NOTIFICATIONS TURNED ON!
Sign up for each class you want notifications for and they will push through on your phone like a text message as long as you have notifications turned ON for WhatsApp.
