January 5, 2023 – In the NMRA Super Stang class, trans brakes are not permitted. The NMRA Tech Committee reminds all Super Stang racers that they are not permitted the use of a factory installed trans brake or any aftermarket programable actuated trans brake. NMRA Tech officials will continue to monitor and check competitors vehicles for the use of a trans brake at Tech-In, In the Lanes, and/or on the starting line during competition.
Any Competitor found using a trans brake during competition will be subject to disqualification of the round at a minimum. The NMRA Tech Department reserves the right to check any competitors vehicle at any time during an NMRA event.
