The Holley NMRA Ford Nationals racing officials made the decision on Thursday to accelerate the racing program due to dire rain predictions (90% chance) for Sunday of the Whipple Superchargers NMRA World Finals Presented by Competition Clutch + Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival. The drag racing and car show programs were condensed to Friday/Saturday with all drag racing eliminators and QA1 True Street completed by Saturday evening. The UPR Products judged Car Show completed all judging, including all Sunday awards, while the Holley Intergalactic Ford Festival action entertained fans across the sprawling 100-acre facility. Sunday features more action on the oval track with Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Chelsea DeNofa Pro Drift exhibition, Autocross, and Grand Champion activities. Tickets are available online or at the gate but schedule is subject to change due to potentially bad weather.
