Santa Ana, Calif. (October 25, 2017) Recently, Promedia Events & Publishing successfully launched an exciting new digital property called Race Pages Digital. The new webzine is designed to reach racers and enthusiasts who prefer receive their content digitally. It features the same journalistic and photographic values and quality that ProMedia has become known for over the last 20 years.
As the new web-based magazine launches, ProMedia has decided the December 2017 of Race Pages will be the final printed version. Since 1999, Race Pages has been a special part of the community, but changing technology has us moving to a new line-up to better serve the readers and advertisers with print and digital media products, explained Steve Wolcott, President and CEO of ProMedia Events & Publishing.
Fastest Street Car Magazine will become of the official publication of both the NMRA Ford Nationals and NMCA Muscle Car Nationals as it increases in size to handle the extra content. It is exciting to expand Fastest Street Car and the January 2018 issue will be nearly twice as large as the magazine was when I first joined the team a few years ago, commented Steve Baur, editor of Fastest Street Car. He continued, I look forward to including NMRA coverage and Ford-specific technical stories, I worked for many years at a Mustang-oriented magazine, so it is like getting back to my roots.
Subscribers and NMRA members will receive Fastest Street Car Magazine beginning with the January 2018 issue. Our team has been great in the switch to the larger Fastest Street Car package and also with the brand-new Race Pages Digital website. Just like in 1999 when my first printed work appeared in Race Pages, I am excited to help cultivate the new website and take a bigger role in Fastest Street Car, said Michael Galimi, Director of Content and Marketing. He continued Working daily with Steve Baur on Fastest Street Car is going to be fun as we continue to support and focus on NMRA and NMCA competition, which have recently become the leading grassroots championship drag racing series. The media division will increase content production as it mixes web-only, print-exclusive, and shared content between both products.
