Race Preview: NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals Presented by Mahle Motorsports
NMRA and NMCA drag racing action returns to Rockingham Dragway next weekend (April 14-16) for the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals presented by Mahle Motorsports. This is the first of three events on the tour where NMRA and NMCA racers compete at the same venue. Drivers will race hard in an attempt to hoist a coveted Victor trophy or head home with one of the many awards that will be handed out in True Street and in the car show.
There’s a home for you at the “The Rock” as over 20 drag racing classes will be contested, from the street-legal ranks of TorqStorm Superchargers/Circle D Specialties True Street, where just about any street-legal car can be raced, to the Index categories, the Dodge // Mopar HEMI Shootout and of course the fiercely contested heads-up ranks that include classes such as VP Racing Lubricants Xtreme Pro Mod, Coyote Stock, Dart NA 10.5, the wild 7-second Holley EFI Factory Super Cars and more.
The NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals is not without special features, as fans will enjoy flame-throwing jet cars, Drag-and-Drive super star Tom Bailey and other Sick Week racers, plus Bracket racing, manufacturer’s midway, the Bigfoot Monster Truck and you won’t want to miss the “Top-Of-The-Rock” fan appreciation party hosted by Clarence Barns and Chris the Car Guy.
