Vortech Superchargers Boosts NMRA Homecoming with Fox Mustang Prize
From the earliest days of the 5.0 Mustang racing movement, the whir of supercharger gears under the hood of a Fox Mustang meant it was a serious player. Vortech Superchargers was at the forefront of that movement, so it’s only fitting that the company is joining the celebration at the Mickey Thompson NMRA Ford Homecoming at Summit Motorsports Park from June 9-11 by giving away a supercharger for a Fox Mustang to a True Street winner.

Since the inaugural True Street event in Norwalk, Ohio, back in 1993 when one of our superchargers was awarded as the grand prize, it only makes sense that we do the same at the 25th Anniversary Event in Norwalk,” Jimmy Martz, Global Director, Sales at Vortech said. “From the very early days with the V-1 A-Trim to the current lineup that includes many different available supercharger units with many different options, the Vortech name is synonymous with Mustang performance. NMRA will randomly select one lucky ’79-’93 Mustang winner from the ranks of Circle D Specialties True Street or TREMEC All-Female True Street to win the prize. In the incredibly unlikely scenario there is not a Fox Mustang winner, the prize will be awarded to the Fox with the fastest overall three-pass average.
